I don't know who this is for but it's in my spirit to share this for somebody. Perhaps this is for you, but if not, please pass share this post to someone who you know may be battling with forgiveness. It is now the season of forgiveness. Some of you all have pain and burdens harboring in the inside of you that's eating you alive. You smile, laugh and all seems well to others, but at night when you're laying in bed and all alone, it's not all good. Someone you cared about did you wrong. You feel emotionally and mentally heavy. You are trying to deal with it and move on, but deep down inside it's eating you alive. It's affecting you in various aspects of your life. You want to give up but you're clinging on to any hope that it will get better. You're desperate for help. You can't deal with it much longer. I'm here to tell you brother or sister, release that pain inside of you. Forgiveness is the first big step of lifting that heavy burden out of your heart and mind.
Forgive your mother or father who was absent or in and out of your life.
Forgive those family member(s) or loved ones who are/were on drugs or battling with addiction.
Forgive your ex boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife who cheated on you or was physically or emotionally abusive.
Forgive that person you trusted or family member who violated you.
Forgive your parent(s) who chose a man or woman over their kids. Forgive your parent(s) or loved ones that did not support your dreams and goals.
Forgive the person(s) who bullied you when you were in grade school.
Forgive those who you trusted dearly but betrayed you or turned their back to you in time of need.
Forgive your estranged siblings or relatives you were once close with but now fell out with.
Forgive yourself.
Forgive because you deserve peace and joy.
Forgive because we need forgiveness.
Forgive as God has forgiven us.
"For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." - Matthew 6:14-15
