Friends: How Many of us Have Them?

The same people you call "friends" ain't always with you to the end.

If you drive a Mercedes Benz then yeah, sure they'll pretend.

You ask them to support my business, but sure enough they ain't with it.

It's always excuses.... why they can't or won't do this.

Truly I'm flabbergasted, I really feel clueless

Like Eazy-E in '95 it's oh, so ruthless.

Be careful who you call crew.

Cause it's snake in the grass who can't wait to bite you.

Despite that I show love, like Nike, it's what I do

It seems like there's more fans of Justin Beiber than Christ believers.

Too many lukewarm and we ain't really that eager.

The deceiver of this world, that snake, is so old,

The lack of love, that's why the world is ice cold.

But you God give us light, to do what is right.

Each breath I take I wanna get closer to Christ.

For that I thank you, and I give you my life.

I'll be on my best behavior because Jesus is my savior.

Stay true to the Word and endure the race of faith.

In due time we will boldly approach the throne of grace.
